Default Supper tonight

4 boneless skinless chicken thighs I had marinaded over night in Maggi
sauce. A quartered red bell pepper and a zuccinni cut in slabs. All
done on the grill. The chicken thighs got finnished off with a
loginberry chipotle sauce I needed to finish up. And the veggies got
basted in a zesty Italian dressing. A fast meal to cook on the grill.
And tasty too.

It's not a question of where he grips it!
It's a simple question of weight ratios!

A five ounce bird could not carry a one pound coconut.

Are you suggesting coconuts migrate?

Sounds good!

Our dinner will be roast turkey breast, seasoned with lemon juice,
salt and pepper, rosemary and onion, green beans, wild rice dressing and
bourbon gravy.

Our dinner is left over BBQ baby back ribs, black-eyed peas and grilled
bell peppers & onions. Dessert is blueberry cake.

I had hamburger. Not that I feel deprived - because it's what I
wanted.

We had an old-fashioned meatloaf and oven-browned potatoes. Haven't made
that for months.

It's good when you have an old favorite that you haven't had for a while!

Yes, it's a comfort food for me, actually. I get a yen for big salads
periodically, too, but I hate making them at home or stocking all the
ingredients required. I'm the only salad eater here. :-( I end up going
to restaurant and ordering a cobb salad or a big chef's salad. The one
"salad" I make for myself is just a large wedge of head lettuce with
homemade 1000 Island Dressing or chunky blue cheese dressing.

Are you talking about African Swallows, or European Swallows ? Clearly
the European Swallow lack sufficient air-speed velocity to carry a
coconut !

And really ! A name like that and no cheese with your chicken ?

A few nights ago, a threw a couple b/s-less chicken breasts in a pan
with a little olive oil.

Browned with a bit of poultry seasoning (alas, no fresh sage).

Sliced and served over grean leaf lettuce (the romaine at the store was
wilted and ugly,as was the red leaf) with ripe tomaotes, walnuts, and a
sprinkle of parm. Used a store bought dressing (Annies IIRC, and it was
the Ranch).

Cheap, quick, and good.

I don't make that at home... do you have proportions or a recipe?

I posted this some time back:

Thousand Island Dressing

1 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoons catsup
2 tablespoons chili sauce
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoons mustard powder
1 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 hardboiled egg, finely mashed with a fork (optional)
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
1 tablespoon sweet relish, or finely chopped sweet pickle
1 tablespoon finely chopped stuffed green olives

Whisk all ingredients together in a small bowl and refrigerate at least
2-hours before serving.

Some recipes call for plain yoghurt instead of mayonnaise, in which case
add 1-2 tablespoons of salad oil. AFAIK, sour cream is not used in
Thousand

Take my word for it, this is a good recipe. We did add the egg, and it
turned out great.

I'm really glad you liked it, Cathy. Sometimes I add the egg, sometimes
not.
