Only if a member of the drug gang got a job as a gate guard.
That would work.

Amusing. Many stores for years had a sign that forbid wearing
a mask inside (usually near Halloween time).

Now they all require a mask to come inside.

This is a great time for robbers. Dream come true.

This time last year, if you walked into a bank wearing a mask
all the tellers would push their silent alarm buttons.
Now you can't get in one without a mask and an appointment.

The masks are to protect both...you and others. It's a double
protection factor if everyone wears one. Not the ones with
the little exhale button on front.

I don't have those. I was never very happy with them but I didn't really

I had a yard full of clover and regular grass mixed. It looked
very nice and soft to walk on barefoot. Why would anyone want
to get rid of clover???

That really did happen to me once but not from Gatorade.

One day at the grocery store, I saw a large box of
Froot Loops cereal on sale. Hadn't had that in like
30 years and (impulse buy) I bought one. It just
sounded good. Also bought fresh milk.

Anyway, once at home, I had large bowl for lunch, my first
meal of the day. So tasty, I had another. Later in the
day, had one for a snack...then dinner later and on and on.

Ended up eating the entire box that day and nothing else.
That got the odd craving out of my system. Haven't had any
since then.

Next morning came my regular morning poop.
Didn't consider what I had eaten the day before but I
totally freaked out when my toilet had very bright green
turds...almost glow in the dark green ones.

WTH? I panicked and ran right to the computer and googled
"green feces." Big mistake. I read about some rare and
deadly condition that caused that.

I was in a panic all morning until it dawned on me about
all the dyes in Fruit Loops. Maybe that's it? I still worried
until the next morning until "things" all back to normal brown
again. WHEW!

You can't ask people to stay away from people they live in one house

Yes, I always feel a little guilty when I mow while the clover is blooming. But
there are always a few blossoms left and my neighbors don't seem to mow
their lawn as frequently so the bees can go there.

In 20 years in this house, I've only seen Canada geese in the yard once. It
looked like they were conducting a flight school for the young geese.

Be cautious or you may not have grass either, borax produces heat when
wet. I think it's best to thatch and overseed with a quality grass
blend. Don't mow too low, some good grasses grow dense and tall and
smother clover. Clover tends to thrive when people mow too low. Also
be careful amending with top soil and manure, most is not sterilized
and will contain all kinds of weed seeds including clover.

It doesn't always make a lot of sense. But we're avoiding the whole
pub anyway at the moment. All hospitality, actually. "Clusters" often
seem to start there.

We're just coming out of winter. The grass didn't grow much for a few
months, but all the weeds did. Thistles everywhere.

Same here. The Greens get no media attention. It's a 2-party system.

She must either hate herself or her life and she takes that out on

It's pretty confusing. Right wing means you're mostly motivated by fear. Fear of the future. Fear that possessions/freedoms/way of life that you have are going to be taken away from you.

Left wing means you're hopeful for the future and for a better life. The last few generation of Americans are mostly leftist - even radically so. They're angry that they never got the chances in life that the boomer had and want to set things straight. They're in for a tough fight because they're up against the rich and powerful but there's a lot more lefties around than righties.

My guess is that they'll take over America.

The rich and powerful know that fear is a powerful motivator of the MAGA minions. They don't care about how many Mexicans cross the Rio Grande. What they care about is that the fear of Mexicans crossing the Rio Grande can be exploited to make a shitload of cash.

Of course. If "they" really wanted to discourage illegal immigration, they'd go for the demand side rather than
the supply side. Put a few meat-processing executives in prison and they'll magically find jobs for legal
residents and turn away the illegals.

Illegals will take jobs that Americans ain't interested in and they'll do it for lower pay. That's an attractive proposition for factory owners. All one has to do is to make the jobs a more attractive proposition for the workers. It'll probably involve higher overhead but that's just the breaks. It can be the new normal for the America of the future. No free ride for the consumer at the expense of the workers. If Americans want to have real meat instead of plant-based meat, they'll just have to pay for it.

Why would anyone want to get rid of clover?

I don't know. It's a great lawn plant. There's nothing worse than an endless
sea of Kentucky Bluegrass, supported by chemicals and sprinklers.

It started with a mention of a place that prohibits lawns to have clover. Somewhere
in Washington State, IIRC. I don't know if it's a municipality or an HOA.

What out front yard doesn't have is grass. I between the various flowers is a sea of violets. My wife pulled every blade of grass and nurtured the violets.

You know, you can take 2-ply toilet paper and kinda peel off the top
section to make 1-ply. Or you can just use half as much.

You can't actually believe that 2-ply tissue clogs her toilet.
