I've been tempted to cancel it all and just watch the 6 local channels with the bad reception and save $80 per month. Trouble is...most of the channels I like are only available on cable and I still don't get many cable channels that I would like to have. Right now, I have all the channels available without having to rent their cable box too, even though my tv is cable ready. A minor upgrade for me would give me about 10 more channels that I would enjoy but also about 20 more that I would never watch. Plus then paying monthly for the box. Companies will charge just as much as the market will bear. If enough customers say, "enough," and actually cancel for a while, they will back down. We customers just need to form a union to stick together and go on strike when necessary. |
