Default Healthful cookies

I am in the middle of baking a batch of no fat, no sugar cookies from a
recipe I got from a friend. I had one at his place recently and they are
very tasty

3 mashed ripe bananas
1/3 cup unsweetened apple sauce
2 cups oats
1/4 cup soy milk
1/2 cup raisins
1 tsp vanilla
t tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup cocoa powder.

Mix all the ingredients together. Use a spoon to drop cookies on the
baking pan and bake at 350F for 15-20 minutes.

I'm not a cookie baker but those do sound like they'd taste good. Glad
you got to try them ahead of time so you know you'll like them.

Wondering now, why you didn't use oat milk rather than soy milk. I know
you like oat milk. First try of the recipe using the original
ingredients before tweaking it?

That is such a good idea that it is exactly what I did.
They turned out nicely. My wife tried on and said they were good, but
she doesn't like the combination of banana and chocolate. She brought me
two, but I only ate one. She ended up eating it herself. I guess they
were so good that it overcame her dislike of that chocolate and banana
combination,

They sound pretty good. Plenty of fructose in there to make up for the
sugar.

There's as much sugar in a glass of orange juice as in a glass of coca
cola.

Yawn. Bullshit. Define 'orange juice' and 'sugar'.And of course, no
consideration of the vast nutritional difference between OJ and cola.

No flour, no shortening, no granulated sugar, no egg, and they are
surprisingly tasty.

The oats take the place of the flour.

with chocolate pudding and sliced bananas. i'd try these cookies
without any problem. all sounds good to me.
