Default Very healthful oil

It appears that they have removed the bad fatty acids (myristic, palmitic)
from coconut oil, leaving only the good ones.

Oh, and how about this?

Now you dumb bunnies who have been avoiding egg yolks can toss those
stupid cartons of Egg Beaters in the garbage where they belonged to
begin with.

Sometimes people what just egg whites and don't want to store or toss
the yolks. What can't you understand about that?

Bryan CAN understand this, but he won't admit it because he's most
likely suffering from a mental health condition known as Narcississtic
Personaslity Disorder, which among other things make him hyperinflate
his own sense of worth largely by disregarding and devaluing evertyone
else's worth.

That's because you can't read. A typo (want, not what) does not
obfuscate the underlying message. So you've just demonstrated that
you're a kitchen chemist, not a cook.

What the Hell would they want a bunch of egg whites for? Meringues?
BS. They buy that crap because they think it's healthful.

Good god... what an obscene product. Another 'triumph of marketing...
I've never seen such a thing here in Aus, but you never know it might
be available in the larger capitol cities.

Once again, you're blowing it out your ass. I bought them because,
yes, I wanted WHITES only for cookies and didn't want to deal with the
yolks.

Well, I have never used egg beaters (only real eggs), but I can think of
lots of things that use egg whites. Angel food cake, for example. When I
was in New Zealand, I had a fantastic Pavlova. Both of those take lots of
egg whites (and the meringue on the Pavlova would not pass as "health food"
even though some people might have said it was "to die for").

Anyone who read the scientific journal articles already knew both of those
things, as you did, many years ago. In the USA, corn, wheat and soybeans
are heavily subsidized while fruits and vegetables are not.

Yes, and that goes a long way in explaining the mainstream view on
nutrition, sadly. Lobbyists and the money behind them wields more
power than the greater good does. I forgot to include the word
'calories' in my previous reply - another term that is abused in a
grossly oversimplified way.

I never gave up my eggs for that nasty tasting crap called 'Egg Beaters.' Blech, whoever thought up that problem needs to be shot.

I never jumped on that silly bandwagon touting the 'health benefits' of green tea either. Humans are terribly gullible it seems.

To get health benefits from green tea, you'd have to drink gallons of it a
day, but I do prefer tea green (unfermented). I buy cheap green gunpowder
(loose) tea for making iced tea.

I don't think that Egg Beaters taste nasty. Then again I have never been an
egg lover. I have used them or similar in baking. We don't eat a lot of
eggs here on a regular basis. There will be periods of time when someone
will go on a egg binge but it is always short lived. When I lived in NY, I
could get small containers of Egg Beaters that came frozen. Very handy to
keep in the house. And they were cheap!

I can see the health benefits alright <G>.
All this just to have some 'egg whites', LOL.

Some sort of craze. Hopefully she doesn't think she needs to go on a
"diet" in the true sense of the word. She probably doesn't weigh 100
lbs. She's in her late 70's and she's a very small woman.
