You're going to continue to have bland, boring, lunches if you stick
with these noodles. Get yourself some Nong Shim Bowl Noodle - Kimchi
flavor. This will bring some excitement back into your lunch.

Unfortunately, the American version is tamed down for stateside folks
but it'll still set you a'cryin'.

Actually they can be dressed up quite nicely. Add chopped green onion,
spinach, swirl in a raw egg to cook in the broth (or a chopped cooked
one), mushrooms. Good place for a bit of suriname or leftover shrimp.
Pan fry a little garlic to golden and add that.

thanks for that heads up, dsil-head!
I looked for that in my grocery store this morning but they didn't
have it. I'll look in the bigger grocery store next time I go there.
If not, there is an Asian market 2 miles from here. Never been there
but I'll bet they have it.

How would you suggest to "untame" it? Add hot peppers, hot sauce?

Seems like a lot of trouble to go through to put on bland noodles. I have some Korean instant noodles and the thought of having some is pretty exciting.

If you can find a Korean market, they'll probably have a good selection of these exciting products. Just make sure your stomach and kidneys are in tip top shape. :-)

Your best bet would be to serve it to women and small children.
