Default Pig Potato

I wanted to use up a leftover half of a big, boneless porkchop. I
shredded it, heated it slowly in some barbecue sauce, and served it on
top of baked potatoes. I also topped the potatoes with a little butter,
salt, pepper, and hot sauce. Cheese, sour cream, hot peppers, green
onion, etc., are good additions, too.

Sounds good... I'll be cooking a pork shoulder soon, I might save some
of the meat to try your idea.

Pig salads are good, too -- a big green salad with whatever salad fixings
you like, topped with the shredded pork and barbecue sauce.

Wow, I used to pass through that town when I lived nearly about 6
years ago... and never came across that big spud. I used to stop there
because of a famous pie shop there...

lovely pies, especially their cherry pies. Well, the shop is located a
few miles outside the town, but still surprised I never noticed the
big potato...

Would a sweet potato shaped like a bird suffice for you?

I think I might have posted this over a year ago but I forget.
I was in the grocery store one morning and they had a bin of bulk sweet
potatoes. I spotted this one right away and thought it was shaped like a
duck or a bird.

So I bought it, took it home and painted it, then stuck 2 shishkebob sticks
in it for legs.

Sorry about the small pic but it was my old computer where I had to conserve
HD space so I shrunk it down.

http://i44.tinypic.com/15wmnwg.jpg - one the left is what I saw and bought,
then I took it home and painted it to look like a bird (not really a duck)
