There's a trick to Googling when you know you're looking for something which
was posted in rec.food.cooking. Go to google.com, then click on the "Groups"
link above the searchbar. When you're in the "Google Groups" area, enter
"group:rec.food.cooking" then the rest of your search. In this particular
case, my search was

group:rec.food.cooking "cole slaw" pantry

Dimitri's post was the third one down.

I should note that not EVERY post will be there; some people have the "No
Archive" flag set, which means that those posts won't be saved by Google.
