Just go an email about Dagoba recalling some of their chocolate bars.
It appears some of them have had unsafe levels of Lead. I called and they would not tell me how much lead was in the bars. I'm concerned as I have consumed the affected bars and have gave them away during the Christmas time period. http://www.dagobachocolate.com/recall/index.html |

Its is pretty strange how such heavy metal contamination could appear
in chocolates... Unless the beans were tainted before it was processed into cocoa liqour? or by means of sabotage? Its unlikely to happen in the processing plant from companies like that which likely have strict implementation of HACCP rules. |

ever watch C.S.I? I wonder if its like the death by chocolate episode,
where Grissom explained that basically due to acid rain, the cacoa plants obtained the lead through osmosis. Or maybe I just watch WAY too much TV.
