Hi, this probably sounds lame, but my Father-In-Law has a vine that's been growing here in Birmingham, UK since before
the climate became kinder. It is very hardy and regardless of treatment, only seems to grow small (the size of a medium large blueberry/black currant) dark purple grapes with big pips in them. The harvest was pitifully small this year, though they are fairly sweet - only 2lbs roughly of grapes including stalks... I was wondering if anyone knew of any fruit and grape or vegetable and grape recipes I could use these few in, preferrably one where the grapes are fermented mashed - for the sake of ease. I know it's a tiny little haul, but it would be a shame to let them go to waste. Many thanks for any ideas offered (apart from - throw them in the dumpster ![]() Jim |
