Default Fruit and Vegetable carving

I've always liked playing with my food ;-) so making pretty
decorations with food is right up my alley.
I've made the two-toned marigold at www.yummytaste.com

We are having a pot luck at work Tuesday, so Iam going to carve out a
watermelon and fill it with watermelon balls, grapes that I'll roll in
jell-o powder and freeze, pineapple, and blueberries. I don't know yet
which flavor jell-o I'll use for the grapes, maybe lemon or lime.

I'm debating between carving out a whale or fish. I got the directions
at www.watermelon.org.
I will also be taking the Italian Pasta Salad Dams posted a few days
ago.

Cool ideas. I've done several versions of baskets and cradles... I rather
like the heart basket, the peacock and the smile. In fact, for kicks, I'd
be pretty tempted to do the Smile one, for work. Very cute and adds
necessary levity. LOL
