We'll be cooking a goose for Thanksgiving, and haven't settled on a
wine, but it'll probably be a mature Bordeaux, Chateauneuf or Burgundy.

We will be in NYC having dinner at The Red Cat. Not sure what to
expect from their wine list but will probably opt for a sparkler of
some type and a medium red.. I've been chasing the elusive New World
Pinot Noir for the past few years and would probably open a bottle of
Talbott, ROAR or Santa Lucia Vineyards Pinot Noir from Gary Pisoni if
we were here in Ohio.

It now looks like some friends will join us after dinner. The current
lineup of wines looks like:

'89 Lynch-Bages
'90 Beaucastel
'95 Michel Gaunoux Pommard 1er

Report to follow in due course.

I'm going to Mark's house. We are having all sparklers including Pierre Peters standard bottling and Rustico Prosecco.

By the way, I was commenting on Mark's choice of wines not inviting myself to dinner. We are at son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren plus us.
