Default TN: '04 Selbach-Oster Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Riesling Kabinett

With a dinner of hastily prepared arroz con pollo

2004 Selbach-Oster Riesling Kabinett Zeltinger Sonnenuhr (AP # 016 05)

nose: initially, stones, a hint of citrus and petrol, becoming peachier
as it sat open
palate: crisply acidic, light bodied, good fruit (grapefruit and peach)

Opened as experiment with the saffron-scented rice, etc., the wine went
fabulously with the food, becoming even fruitier and less obviously
acidic. The bottle went down all too easily, but was a welcome addition
to our Friday night dinner.
