In Marco Island for the winter and enjpying the seafood. Last night I
did Yellowtail Snapper in a spicy broth and served a bottle of 2004 J. J. Prum Wehlener Sonnenuhr Kabinett Riesling. Still pale golden in color. A bit of sulpher on openiing which blew off quickly. Intial nose of petrol was expected and it faded after a few minutes. Nice lively orchard fruit nose with floral notes of honeysuckle. Smooth on the palate with a soft sweetness followed by a zippy acidity. Delicious, clean and fun. "A" |
