That is true, I am doing it voluntarily, however you have posited that I can
resolve the current impasse in the discussion by answering a question. I am
telling you that won't work, it's what I have been trying to do all along.
When I answer your questions, you don't follow up, you simply skip down to
the bottom of the message and move on to another question. The questions
themselves suggest that you aren't giving the issue much thought, which is
why I have accussed you of trolling.

I am trying to expand my mind, discover and express ideas and truth. How
about you, what's your agenda?

Why should we assume it is a "he"?

At any rate, this bores me. I'll move on.

Responding is different than answering the question posed.

Example. Do you like the colour green? Answer: I like a lot of colours.
I think my favourite colour is blue. This is a response, but it doesn't
answer the question that was posed. This is where we disagree. That you
respond is different from responding to the question that was asked.

I don't have "an" agenda. My intentions and motivations vary from moment
to moment.

You have responded consistently. That your responses constitute answers
to the questions posed is another matter.

My motivations range the full spectrum of human motivations. I do find
it interesting that you are wanting me to discuss myself at a personal
level and in a public conference.

Considering I view the use of the term "trying" as lying, I choose to
avoid the bait.

They were direct answers. In most cases they went unchallenged so I can only
assume that either you were satisfied with the answer or had no adequate
response.

What are these but our personal ideas? If I am going to spend time talking
with you I think I have a right to ask what you want from me. I'm not
asking for details of your sex life, or your name and address.

Another foolish idea you misappropriated from somewhere..

Or the third option, where you refused to respond directly to a question
asked that I ignored it and moved to the next point.

You have the right to ask and I have the right to decide what is
information that I deem irrelevant to the discussion. I don't think you
have that right to know anything about me other than what I am prepared
to tell you. Further, as I declared weeks ago, if I want something from
you, I'll ask for it. I hope that resolves the issue for you.

An idea that has a wealth of evidence to support it. I'm trying to quit
smoking says the smoker. I'm trying to quit drinking says the alcoholic.
I'm trying to be civil says the abusive personality.

You are always welcome to present conflicting examples.

My responses are direct, you just don't like them.

Don't kid yourself, you want something or you wouldn't be here. The only
question is whether or not you are prepared to be honest about it.

I am trying to earn a degree in higher mathematics, I am trying to develop
debating skills, I am trying to develop my vocabulary, I am trying to expand
my mind, I am trying to high jump six feet, I am trying make the perfect
