What was the bread like Paul? I'm sure it can be recreated from a good
description.

Why doesn't he ask his teacher for the recipe?

You seem to be the one who thought of that.

lol well thinking "why didn't he ask the teacher" for one second then
realising he must have a good reason not to ask the teacher and asking
him assuming it hadn't occurred to him are to very different things.
Relax Phil.

Whatever it was you were attempting to google, check to see if you spelled
it in some ordinary way. Google gets "recipie", for instance, but is not universally
competent for correcting capricious spelling.

Whenever some unexpected culinary delight appears, according to my efforts,
in my kitchen, I do not hesitate to give it an esoteric name. Names of Aegean
Islands would be good, as there are many of them, and one might never run out.

Be ever watchful of Humanities teachers!

possibly Cretan Cottage Bread? When googled, this came up, but haven't
found a recipe for it yet.
