Green beans?
What can I say, we picked, snapped, and put up six more pints of green
beans in the freezer this afternoon. We're getting enough rain the beans are really producing well. Same with yellow squash and tomatoes, only the cukes aren't doing well. Actually saw a couple of bees on them today so there is still hope. Went to the old high school homecoming today, only two of us from our year were there. Lots of young people there from the early to late sixties. <G> Still had a good time and lots of good food. The committee brings the brisket, everyone else brings something homemade. We took fresh cukes, tomatoes, sweet chiles, and sliced yellow squash today, along with a big bottle of salad dressing. Lots of delicious desserts, my blood sugar shot up just looking at them. George |
