Thank you for the opportunity to slip that in to what is an otherwise
humourless exchange. And if we're not having fun, what the fork are we
doing here?

Agreed, Michel. I sometimes think your zeal is beyond some of the folks
here, but I enjoy it.

So what you are saying is that you hate half of yourself. That
explains everything.

Don't worry about it. I have a feeling your lack of comprehension will
be soon revealed by Graphic Queen to be caused by your heretofore
hidden Eurocentric bigotry which has now come to the fore. This is her
justification for any perceived criticism.

It's unfortunate that people can post without a license.

As someone already pointed out, if "people" needed a license to post,
you'd probably be talking to yourself...

I knew it is done in my area, but maybe it's not done in all parts of
the country. Personally, I don't mind paying for tattoo removal. If
they can become a taxpaying contributor - it's money well spent.

Tattoos are like marriage - easy to get into and hard to get out of.
Like I said before, if those people can become taxpaying members of
our community by staying of trouble (jail), staying off welfare and
holding down a job - that person is contributing to the tax base
instead of draining it. So, I still think it's money well spent.
Socialist thinking has nothing to do with it. It's practical.

I thought that I proved that I know more about sarcasm than you did. I've
been taking lessons from Michel Boucher, after all. Of course, both of us
tend to hit a little wide of the mark sometimes.

What's your beef with socialism? It's what all advanced societies have,
in this day and age.

You want pure capitalism... go look atRussia.

That was a low blow. I still think of my dear departed mother fairly
often, although it will be 33 years this fall since she died.

Upon this note, I will leave this part of the thread. I'm not
contributing anything of value to this group here.

Yeah, we all miss 'em. Mine passed 15 years ago tomorrow (July 2) and I
miss her. She would have loved to live to see Dan Rather *retire*, lol.
