What we're talking about is the work to make a minimum cup of mayonnaise, use two tablespoons, and throw the remainder away. That would be a waste of my work. In fact, you will never persuade me, and I will never persuade you. I'll agree to disagree on this subject. Cindy Hamilton |

You must be very young to never have bought ketchup in a glass bottle, what'er you fourteen? You trying to convince us that you've never bought fast food mystery meat burgers w/fries and glommed a handful of foil ketchup packets... you must realize that their cost is added into your burger and fries... a dozen of those packets cost more than your burger and fries. I'll bet most everyone here has a big tub filled with those condiment packets at home, and in their vehicle... billions of bits of plastic and foil polluting litter... I'll bet the fast food joints do absolutely nothing to recycle their crap... how many monster tankers worth of used deep fry oil do they dump into the environment... duh! And not a one of them are selling actual food, not one fry is actual food, it's all excretia before yoose assholes ingest it. Tonight's dinner began at 7 AM, a 5 lb top round for pot roast. Real red potatoes, real carrots, real celery, and real herbs n' spices. Real gravy so good we can't stop slurping. I've been here more than 20 years, not a one of yoose is worthy of preparing school lunch. I'd fire yoose all. |

My accountant had an old Mercedes diesel and he'd make biodiesel. That seems like hard and dirty work. I like to reclaim my fry oil. I pour in into squeeze bottles and use it for stir frying. |

Tractors use huge quantities of hydraulic fluids that need regular changing. Unfortunately that does nothing to keep his prices lower. Fortunately my neighbor who uses our barn for his haying equipment maintains our tractors and helps us with lots of other jobs. It works out well and we think he gets the better deal but we don't care, we're getting too old for all the heavy work he does. Plus he's a great neighbor... his son plows our driveway in winter and plows nice paths for our feral cats so they can get to food and water. Also I cook large amounts of food that helps feed his family, he has four sons. They love my cooking. eep his prices low. |
