Rather than something obscure and unfinished or experimental that hasn't been supported since 2012. I'd use Thunderbird if I didn't already use that for email. |

I guess Thunderbird does not have those functions that notbob is looking for, but I guess the evolution of the reader never saw a need for it and it never occurred to me, so I see no real need for it. I just find it easy to use because I have stuck to similar readers for years and I am comfortable with it. Filters are easy to set up and fairly effective. I think one filter I could see value in is on that filters out the replies to the people in my filters. |

I have a bunch of people and subjects filtered by containing parts of the sender or subject. Some exceptionally pathetic losers have been hard to get rid of, but I eventually managed. The few that get by don't take long to give themselves away. When they get really manic and change daily or hourly they tend to get carried away. In the case of those losers it is not even worth filtering because they will be back with a new name in minutes, so you can simply ignore every new username that pops up. |

I just clicked (as I mentioned) Check for Upgrades. Now I'm running v. 52.9.1. And there is a link for release notes. So someone is keeping up with this Mozilla product. Just as they're maintaining Firefox as a browser. Jill |

Or is it Bruce or Bruise or Bruze or whatever interations of that name. Thunderbird filter capabilities are great. Ditto with the email addresses and domains. Jill |

Its cold for about 11 months of the year. Near every pond lurks a pack of Canada Geese that will either try to bite you or will laugh as you slip on their poo. There were a couple times parliament tried to pass decriminalization bills, but they didnt take until 2017, when the Cannabis Act was passed. The bill officially went into effect today, thus making Canada the second country in the world, behind Uruguay, to legalize it for recreation, medical use, and cultivation. All but two provinces require you to be 19 years old (Alberta and Quebec are going with 18). You can smoke at home and in public (depending on the city), and bring 30 grams of weed on a plane, but you cant get high and get behind the wheel of a car. You can also buy weed online and have it shipped to your house. Forget what I said about the geese, this country is obviously great. But you cant sell it €“ you have to buy it from the government or an approved source. > > Canada is also considering releasing people in jail for weed-related offenses. > > As for how much legal weed in Canada will cost, thats still up for debate. But CBC says that in general, it looks like it will start at about $7 to $8 a gram. I am not a weed smoker, so I dont know if $7 a gram is a good deal or not. But now is the time to get into a weed-adjacent Canadian side-business. I should go door to door with a box of butter tarts and a couple old VHS tapes of Readalong. Theres no reason that anybody should be denied the full Canadian stoner experience..." > > </> I smoke it when I am in Colorado, and would love to see it legalized in Texas, but that will probably never happen. Texans like beer and whiskey, they like to get drunk and beat their partners up, go out in the streets and drive till that have a wreck, the only thing I have seen from smoking a joint is a happy mood. I would not drive after smoking tho. |
