Default What's for Dinner?

I'm having a hard time deciding what to take out of the freezer.

I've got thick cut pork chops (I could stuff & bake them). Another
chuck eye steak, a prime filet, a cod fillet, more catfish fillets, sea
scallops, ground chuck, another package of andouille sausage. Alas, I
don't have any chicken. I usually buy chicken thighs but the price has
been outrageous lately and chicken isn't one of my favourite things.
(Exception: chicken leg quarters to make a big pot of chicken &
dumplings! I need to add those to my shopping list.)

I've got all kinds of pasta and a jar of Barilla (sosume) spaghetti
sauce. Various frozen veggies, except I'm out of spinach. The only
fresh veggie I have at the moment is a bag of those fun tiny potatoes.

Lentils. I suppose I could make a pot of lentil soup. Maybe add some
of the andouille sausage.

It's just one of those days when nothing appeals, not even one of my
homemade freezer dinners.

I may wind up just having a burger with pepperjack or swiss cheese on a
toasted wheat bun. I've got some ground chuck already formed into 1/3
lb. burgers using the handy dandy Tupperware burger press & store system
my mother gave me nearly 40 years ago.

Jill
