I drove from SW to NE Montana in the late sixties with my father. West Yellowstone through Billings and Miles City into Williston, ND was the route. Everywhere along there, the state posted crosses wherever someone had died. If many had, there were that number of crosses at the point that the accident occurred. I'll never forget them. That type of reminder is no longer politically correct. leo |
