Default Dinner the other day

Pulled pork with eastern NC BBQ sauce on a bun with homemade coleslaw.
Homemade fries too. Potato nuked to 1/2 done then cut into fries
and finished by deep frying in oil. yum

This was actually 2 dinners and a lunch. For 2nd dinner and lunch
I ate Pringles "sour cream and onion" chips rather than the fries.

And I thank Sheldon for the Pringles headsup. Several weeks ago he went
on one of his long rants that ended with how Pringles aren't real potato
chips. True, but he reminded me of them and how much I liked them way
back years ago. So I bought a can and I've been addicted to them ever
since. Just the sour cream & onion flavor though...I don't care for the
other flavors.

Luckily, they've been on sale lately. heheh

I find eating Pringles boring, all the same cookie cutter
configuration... like having the same woman every night. lol

I'm not a fan of Pringles either, boring on the taste to me
but some people do like them.

I like Pringles too (plain for me), but I don't eat them unless
someone offers me one. I am basically not much of a potato chip eater
and never buy them for myself. If I did, I'd buy Trader Joe's Olive
Oil Chips. They are tasty, and not too salty.

LOL I remember being utterly amazed when we returned from living in
Thailand (circa 1971) to discover Pringles "potato chips" stacked in a
cardboard cannister. It was quite a novelty! They didn't offer a
multitude of flavours at the time, though. I don't care for chips that
taste of ranch dressing or sour cream & onion (that's what dip is for).

I like Pringles. I'm not so sure what's so boring about them - it's the other chips that tend to be boring and ordinary. My favorite Pringles flavor would be peperoni pizza. It tastes great!

I like the new Lay's Chinese Szechuan Chicken and Kettle Cooked Indian Tikka Masala chips. They taste pretty damn exotic. I have a bag of Brazilian Picanha Lay's chips but have not tried it yet. I'll have to open it tonight during the Olympics.

I don't particularly like Pringles but I love a certain brand of crisps
(chips?) Salt and Vinegar flavour. I rarely buy them because I like them

I've never had anything but plain Pringle's. They taste weird and
their texture is... sandy.

I always liked "Flamin' Hot" Lay's, but I generally eat plain potato chips,
the saltier the better, and the browner the better.

I don't eat chips much at all, once in a great while I will eat a few, but I
never met too many chips I didn't like.

Agree and that goes for every flavor, with the possible exception of
salt & vinegar - except they are way too salty for me to enjoy.

Anyone else remember Charles Chips? They delivered! My mom ordered
them a couple of times. I don't remember how they tasted, but I do
remember the metal can they came in.

I am not much interested in potato chips, and even less interested in
any flavoured chips. I never buy them. I don't even buy them for
company, but I confess that if I am somewhere and there are chips out I
will probably eat them. I won't enjoy them, but I won't be able to stop
eating them.

There is no context. We're talking the taste of snack food items at the
moment, not bickering about who weighs how much. How petty!
