I am not relying on conjecture. My husband eats them. He says they are
fatty and greasy. I have no compunction to try them. They do not look
appealing no matter what is done to them. I am not much of a meat eater.

I can't have it. I have since looked up what a Mio bottle is. Apparently
it is a water flavoring which I have no interest in and it is indeed
sweetened with that. AFAIK, the Aspartame in Diet Coke is fine but the
stuff that *I* can buy has a corn based bulking agent so I can't have it. I
believe that liquid Aspartame is made but it's not in any stores around here
and I think I did see it online but it was super expensive. If it wasn't
that, it was something else I could have but again, super expensive and
literally the only thing I would ever use it for would be a few pitchers of
lemonade so... I'll do without.

I know that some people like flavored waters but I'm not one of them. I do
like lemon and lime slices in water and perhaps once in a while, berries.
Not so much other fruits. They serve fruity water where my mom lives so I
have probably tried every kind there is. I really don't like oranges in
water.

Instead of actual fruit, how about:

http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/stor...ord=sodastream

You can give the orange essence to a friend.

Then use lemon and do not ask us for alternatives Julie. Dont waste
folks time answering what you already decided you want.

Yup, it's rapidly tiring me out. Although I know now not to spend much
time on her posts unless I think it may help *another than her* I
concentrate on the real people with real questions.

Julie, you posted this:

> So I am having to use bottled. I wish there was a sweetener I could

Hi Julie, for sweeter water, try the mio bottles or if that doesnt fit
the budget, fix a packet of KoolAide with 2 cups water and use a little
of that in a bottle. Use the ones that have no sweetner then add a
little sweetner of a type that works for you. You arent re-creating
KoolAide here but a bit of fruit flavor to the water. At the lightly
flavored water version, that 2 cups from one packet will flavor 2-2-1/2
gallons for most of us.

People spent time to reply and you basically pooped on our heads for
it. You just called me an idiot for trying to help you with how to
fruit up some water.

If you do not feel real popular here, you might want to look at your

Amen to that. The Bloviating Bove is a troll, and very
successful at that. My own skills pale next to hers.

Please not that if you do not see aioe.org in the headers, it is

I don't know why people waste time on that dumb bitch when we

Note that my posts are on the aioe.org server, all others are

Julie, Do not ask again for what people fix in hot weather if you are
going to virtually spit in their face for answering like you just did
to Jill.

Seriously, you are an adult. You say you are in your 50's and you
don't know better behavior with other people than that?

IF you didn't read her garbage you wouldn't find it so annoying.

All my posts are now on aioe.org, thanks to a rat and a fascist

I keep trying but this day, she got really rude at people about it.

Yeah, Carol. Lemon water with fresh lemon slices. You mentioned
lemonade, that was your mistake. Lemonade really does need to be
sweetened a bit. She brought up the alternative sweeteners, nope, can't
have any. The answer is don't drink lemonade.

That's the thing! I *didn't* ask for alternatives. I didn't ask for

She isn't even the one who mentioned it. I merely made a comment. I happen
to like frozen lemonade but I can't have it now because I haven't found a
sweetener that I can have. I didn't ask anything. I just made a comment.

I know what I said. Please read it again. There was no question in there
and in no way did I ask about flavored water.

Obviously he likes them. There would be no other reason for him to
bring them home (since she doesn't cook ribs, ever) and eat them in
front of her.

Of course she has no compunction. Compunction practically being
guilted into doing something someone didn't want to do.. No one is
insisting Julie eat ribs. Or really stretch out of that strange little
bubble she lives in.

As for Conjectu
Noun:

"An opinion or conclusion formed on the basis of incomplete information".

She says her husband told her ribs are fatty and greasy. She says they
don't look appealing. I guess he sits there eating really bad spare
ribs in front of her. Because the guy can't get any food he wants to
eat in his own home. I wonder where he bought the ribs?

It really doesn't matter. It's a very strange household.

Why were you trying to help me here? I didn't ask for help. Now I did in
the ketchup thread but not here. I merely made a comment. Frankly I think
that people offering "help" when it wasn't asked for is pretty rude.
Obviously a different thing IRL if you see someone struggling or some such
thing. I merely said that I couldn't find any sweeteners I could use for
lemonade. That was a statement. A comment. Not a cry for help or asking
for alternatives to lemonade.

I don't spit in people's faces. Jill well knows that I won't eat ribs. She
was being nasty to me. And she knew it. It's what she does. Jill is my
age too. She constantly takes nasty swipes at me. But I guess that's okay
with you.

Spit? I don't spit.

? Jill well knows that I won't eat ribs.

Actually I didn't know that but I should have surmised it.

I merely pointed out just because you said your mother never cooke ribs,
that wouldn't have stopped me from trying them. Then you said you don't
cook things your mother never cooked. Or some such oddness.

Most people who *like* food and cooking are willing to take the next
step beyond and try some new things.

I make a lot of frozen lemonade this time of year. (I also make
lemonade with lemons, but for the most part I use frozen). I don't find
it needs any sweetening. I buy premium brand juice because the
cheaper/store brands always seems to taste like a lot of the rind was
squeezed into the juice.

Julie, you're looking for sweetener for frozen lemonade? Isn't it
sweet/tart enough already?

i can gaurantee you'd love eating my meat.

I make spare ribs often, there's no reason they have to be messy,
actually I think spare ribs are one of the least messy finger foods,
just avoid all the gloppy sauce... and if ribs need to be slathered
with gloppy sauce all that means is they aren't worth eating. If
boiled they will taste nasty so then they need gloppy sauce. I
marinate ribs for three days in the fridge, in a big zip-loc, so
wastes little marinade. Then grill long and low. When I make spare
ribs I've seen people who say they're not big rib eaters who will eat
an entire rack and look for more. I've had women eat my ribs who have
said they're embarrassed to suck the bones but they can't resist and
they suck bones like they've been sucking all their life...

That is because you are clueless on social interactions, which is also
why people underestmate your age. Your social interaction level is
that of a 20 year old. Don't take that as a compliment because it isnt.

Agreed on the strange house. I can't say we are average either but at
least we get along well with food, and cooking the stray item one of us
dosen't like when the other isn't here.

If we have a problem here, it tends to be that of 3 cooks at once in
the kitchen. ;Leggo of my duck! It's my turn!; sort of thing.

Ah well, I can see Julie it off again on a thread. I suspect i will
ignore it.

Carol

And yet it seems everyone interpreted it that way, like so many times
before. So they're all wrong, are they? Read what you wrote again.

Well, you do live in the back to front/upside-down world known as
planet Bove, after all. You asked for help whether you meant it or
not.

And yet this keeps on happening to you when you post like this.
But you claim everyone else has got it wrong, LOL.

Well, if you drank 10 cans of soda per day, I guess your taste buds
would become desensitised to flavour.

Hell, she was looking for sweetener for bottled water.
