Obviously he likes them. There would be no other reason for him to
bring them home (since she doesn't cook ribs, ever) and eat them in
front of her.

Of course she has no compunction. Compunction practically being
guilted into doing something someone didn't want to do.. No one is
insisting Julie eat ribs. Or really stretch out of that strange little
bubble she lives in.

She says her husband told her ribs are fatty and greasy. She says they
don't look appealing. I guess he sits there eating really bad spare
ribs in front of her. Because the guy can't get any food he wants to
eat in his own home. I wonder where he bought the ribs?
