Coriander seed is also used in pickling spice,
some German sausages, and (IIRC) it's popular
with pepper and garlic as a rub for roast beef.
I think it plays well with fish; it's a little
lemony.

I've got some cilantro ready to bolt; I should
allow it to do so. The best coriander I ever
had was from my own plants.

Good idea! Save some seeds to plant too.

True that. I've eaten it, just don't want to do that sort of cooking
at home.

I made that Persian Lamb Shank recipe, and I was so disappointed. I did not
like that combination of spices at all, and ended up rinsing them thoroughly
and chopped them up for dog food, froze the portions, and she is loving it.
I hate it when something turns out to be a bust after getting such a good
buy on them. LOL

Oh, man... so sorry! It's bad enough to have an epic fail, but when
it's an expense one....
