I just happened upon those gag worthy things the other night. Reminds me of
when I was on that raw vegan diet. Some of those people were really hard
core and wouldn't waste so much as a bite of food. Leftover smoothie or
anything else? No problem. Dehydrate it!

I did make fruit leather and it was fine but I have no real need/reason to
make it now. I could see doing it if you have excess fruit which we haven't
for a few years. We did have a bumper crop of apples and pears when we
first moved in but the trees are so old now we are lucky to have enough for
one pie or crisp and a few for eating fresh.

But I could see putting some celery and other veg into fruit leather. I
could not however see using the end result as a wrap like they did on the
HSN website.
