I am sure it's no Steinbeck-move-over work, but would you read it if stuck, say, on an elevator for hours? |

An excerpt: "'...Winter is good. She's *good*. She didn't call herself Queen of Sex,' Ann snickered, 'though she could have. Put it together. She called herself the Queen of Love...'" Winter's non-sexual love for her mother is as central to her story as any sexual love. I didn't ask anyone to pay for the book, and made it clear that it will be free on Dec. 21, but since you did pay (thank you), you don't have to wait for the "juicy" stuff. --Bryan |

Erections certainly do make urination difficult. We USAans have an expression, "Think about baseball," that pertains to delaying premature ejaculation, but if you take it to the extreme of thinking about the catcher for the Blue Jays, or the Ottowa Senators' goalie's jock strap, any "excitement" should soon vanish. Did I use too many commas? --Bryan |

Saw this on another NG: A poem by Willie Nelson The younger generation may not know it but at one time Willie Nelson was songwriter of the year. Such songs as "Hello Wall", "Crazy" sung by Patsy Cline, "Funny how Time Slips Away" and a host of other favorites. He is also a well recognized poet in his own circle of friends. Whether or not you are a country music fan, these are truly the words of a deep thinker. So simple, yet so profound! Read the words of wisdom from that famous philosopher, Willie Nelson, iconic country and western singer, on his 80th birthday. Only a man with such wisdom and maturity could be so concise and succinct in phrasing his feelings at this turning point in his life. "I have outlived my pecker." A Poem - by Willie Nelson My nookie days are over, My pilot light is out. What used to be my pride and joy, Is now my water spout. Time was when, on its own accord, From my trousers it would spring. But now I've got a full time job, To find the friggin thing. It used to be embarrassing, The way it would behave. For every single morning, It would stand and watch me shave. Now as old age approaches, It sure gives me the blues. To see it hang its little head, And watch me tie my shoes!! |

OK - I gave it a two minute shot. Ho-hum dialogue. Same old subject, predicate, subject, predicate. Pulitzer material it is not. I won't even comment on plot.
Hell, your posts to this group are more interesting and certainly better written. |
