I made that cabbage and noodle dish I mentioned earlier today. It's
the Eastern European recipe called Kaposzta Teszta in Hungarian (I
ate it at a restaurant in Budapest with roast duck) or Haluski in
Polish (which I've read about here). I didn't get fancy, no caraway
seeds and I cut down on the total amount of butter, substituting olive
oil for part of what I used and reducing the total amount. It was
delicious! I told hubby it would have been even better with more
butter, but he always <*jokingly*> tells me I'm trying to kill him
when I use a lot of butter. He is a cabbage lover and what I did
bowled him over. He couldn't stop telling me how much he liked it + I
got a kiss and a thank you every time he walked past me. Love is
still alive after 40+ years. LOL

Avoid cutting yourself when slicing vegetables by getting someone else to hold them.

Of all the reasons I've had to kiss women over the years--and they are
legion--none have been related to cabbage.

A husband kissing a wife is TMI? I figure you're jealous.

She does, or claims to, but it's because I've pointed out many times that
she and her family are "turds in the gene pool," and that getting her
daughter's tubes tied is the only way that she can redeem herself. I've
also called attention to her being a layabout parasite.

The only thing we need to know about you, Gary, is that your *girlfriend*
is of a different species.

LOL! Different species and no sex but other than that, she is one of
the best "girlfriends" that I've ever had. She loves me
unconditionally, loves to spend all her time with me, even sleeping
under the blanket next to me. She never bitches at me like most women
do occasionally. She's like a little puppy dog that loves you to
death. Never any drama....just a cute, loving little furry friend.

Please G-d, please let her live for a long long time. Whenever she
goes, it's going to hit me really hard. And I already see her slowing
down. In 2 more weeks, she will be the longest living one of all that
I've had. "You go girl!"

It sounds like he loved the Kaposzta Teszta, and the chef as well. You
can't beat that. ;-)
