The only reason my wound from the surgery wasn't healing was because the
Drs. weren't *letting* it heal. My initial wound had already healed by the
time the surgery was done which was why nobody could understand why they
wanted to operate.

Each time I went back, they cut the wound open and the one Dr. jabbed all
sorts of things into it. She even broke a stick off into the wound. The
visiting nurse said that the wound would never heal if they didn't quit
doing this.

They also kept the foot totally wrapped up tightly and told me never to
unwrap it which is why the fungal infection set in. And due to their
mishandling of the wound, they pushed it into my blood stream.

You may ask why I continued to go back to them. Well... I couldn't drive
and they were the closest Drs. to me. Angela didn't yet have her license
and I didn't dare have her drive me lest they put me back in the hospital
again. She'd be stranded there with my van. So... Mostly my SIL was
driving me and the other Dr. where I eventually went is located where she
lives. I didn't want to make her drive all the way out here then back there
then back here again then back there to home. I was trying to do what I
thought was the frugal and convenient thing but in the end it was a very bad
thing. Live and learn.
