Hello,
I'm a bachelor and want to cook some chicken breasts tonight. They are frozen. I want to bake them. How long from frozen do I put them in the oven, and what temp? Thanks! -Graham Remove the 'snails' from my email |

Thanks. I got hungry and threw them in the oven (frozen) @ 350. It is looking a little dry so I put some olive oil on top. I'm guessing about an hour? -Graham Remove the 'snails' from my email |

You should never cook anything frozen. Not only will you not be able to
gauge when they are done nor will they taste as good. If you had a microwave you could have defrosted them that way. If not, I would have waited till the next day. "G. Personally, the breast is my least favorite part of the chicken. I prefer legs or thighs. |

If you need to bake a couple of frozen breasts, make sure you have about 2 hours. Put them in a covered baking dish with bay leaves, onions, chopped garlic, and carrots and a teaspoon of salt. Cover with red or white wine (crappy wine is OK) and bake at 350 for 2 hours. The wine will make the breasts tender, and they should be cooked after 2 hours. This is essentially a simple coq au vin. You can also put in potatoes, mushrooms, celery, and ham. The most important things are the chicken, wine, garlic and onions. -- Sir Baldin Pramer, R.P.A.
