She was indeed. I will never forget Julia Chiild's cooking show. I always
watched it on days when I stayed home from school and even at that young age
she made me want to try it for myself. And I did too. On her show she
taught me how to make cream puffs which were a huge hit at my 6th grade bake
sale at school. That's not something a lot of novice bakers take on but
thanks to her they turned out great. I just never got the same enthusiasm
for Graham Kerr, there was just something about Julia and her peculiar
persona and voice.
