my absolute favorite 'julia child' moment was on SCTV in the 'battle of pbs
stars' featured a boxing match between julia (john candy) and mr. rogers
(martin short), announced by howard cosell (eugene levy):

there's no question that the most brilliant aspect of jerry lewis's work is
that it provided grist for short's impersonations. well, that and
professor frink:
