Well, it's in the 50's and sunny here in Chicawgo today and there is more
warmer weather on the way this next week...we are actually *warmer* today than parts of northern Florida (they've had freezing weather the last few nights). So in "celebration" I'm drinking iced coffee, my preferred way to drink the brew. It's been so cold for so long that it actually feels somewhat "exotic" as I've not had it for months now. A minor thing, but it has me smiling as it's a harbinger of *somewhat* better weather... If nothing else it's melting all those goldarn frozen UGLI snowbanks that make getting around such a PITA... :-) ====>>> the brew is Intelligentsia, a small local provider -- Best Greg |

It's always my second cup of the morning. Ever jazzed it up with vanilla extract or caramel syrup? Felice |

This thread reminded me of the Vietnamese style ice coffee I had at
Pho shops. I would get a tumbler of ice with some condensed milk in it along with a small mug that had a metal strainer packed with coffee grounds and a hot water reservoir on top. Several minutes of drip drip drip later, you pour the cafe into the tumbler, stir and enjoy. :-) Mmmmm...bye! |

To the previous poster who asked if I put caramel, etc., in my coffee, the answer is no, I don't care for flavors in my coffee. An exception is if I make a coffee-flavored smoothie in the summer, then I'll put some caramel or whatever in... -- Best Greg |
