The oneupmanship has been a disgrace. That isn't love.

I will think of and grieve for Kili silently.

I don't know them at all, which is part of the point I am making that
seems lost on you.

Other "USA-centric" groups? I love the arrogance... the answer would
depend on your criteria, wouldn't it? I have always been subbed to a very
wide range of groups, which varies over time. Some I post heavily to,
others I happily lurk in. I would assume the majority of posters would be
American, followed by Europeans (aside from the .aus hierarchy naturally).

No.

I really *don't* give a flying **** about who "wins" or not. But I'll be
****ed if I'm going to sit back and have some skank talk down to me, as
if she is the be all to end all of anything that happens on this group.

At the end of the day, she bleeds red, and she sits to shit, just like
me. She, or anyone else on here, is no better than anyone else on here.

It's time the self proclaimed 'prima donnas' got their collective noses
out of their arses and woke up to themselves.

I post the updates to Christy's website, with a link, and I *don't* make
*any* personal comments to them.

ITA. It would be nicer place if more people would act like they would
in person...at the bare minimum polite. It seems as if anonymity is an
effective screen behind which to hide while acting reprehensively. I
barely knew Kili...but what I did know was wonderful, and she was always
so nice to me. I hate to see her name associated with all of this crap.

All of which completely fails to counter their assertions peter.
It is especially obvious to those who know your personality what your
motives for these posts are really about peter.

It's always great to hear such stories, I can only imagine the relief you

mention the cash...

Muah? I don't do *any* such thing.

My gripe is that Peter would stoop sop low as to email somebody's
boss because he's being picked upon. You can't possibly endorse
shit like that.

Peter's an asshole. I'm sorry if that affects my friednship with
you. That would be a Jill move.

Somebody stole my backpack out of a grocery cart a couple months
ago. I'm pretty sure it was an employee - a courtesy clerk. There
wasn't anything of value in it (except an undeposited paycheck,
which I didn't really need at the time).

I offered them $100, but they declined. And I don't know what elke
to do for them since I don't even know them. They might be....
vegetarians <gasp> or allergy freaks. Which leaves out anything
food-related like gift certificates for dinner or just cookies ;-)

I don't get what's going on in this thread and this is a far as I go.
It looks like someone is being immature and crude. That said....if
someone returned my wallet with 700 still intact, I'd be writing THE
biggest letter to my local editor. Such a deed has to garner heavy
duty praise. You are most fortunate.

hi, so many confusing and deceptive messages in here makes it hard to know
what is real?
this message does seem more than a little off color!
I cant for the life of me imagine sending a message about my loved ones
dying using such cold language!

using words like "the order" and "terminate" to relate that your SO is about
to die! and using the name "Cornholio" to do so is in SUCH POOR TASTE.
people, this must surely be a michievous person with no scruples or taste
trying to cause more trouble here. noone would say such a thing like that
about their own dying wife! sorry I just could not stay silent on this. hope
you all had a wonderful christmas and have a great new year!

No, cold language is running around telling people they're gonna "pull
the plug" on her (not mentioning any names here).

I agreed with you at first. Rest assured, Christy's husband did post
this, and he does love her with all his heart. He's under an enormous
amount of stress, and was feeling defeated when he wrote that.

As to the nick, he had unsubscribed from the group, using his usual
nick of TFM. He came back in a moment of despair, and used whichever
of his other accounts was handiest.

You are responding to a drama queen/vulture. You know that, right?

Don't forget that Peter Lucas also made a complaint to a nurses board
about a nurse just because that nurse picked on him.
Peter Lucas also posts peoples phone numbers & home addresses of
people he's being picked upon.
He also has no qualms about posting contents of personal emails
either.
It is strange how a person like Peter Lucas is really a coward when he
appears to be so strong and macho.
Kill file Peter Lucas and there will be peace and quiet like it was
before Peter Lucas had joined a couple of years ago.

Perhaps we should introduce him to Sheldon.

OMG, I desperately needed a good laugh. Trolls really need to study
the territory they're entering.

Personally, I always favor the following definition with the word "troll"
comes up. It's what I picture...

Main Entry: 3troll
Function: noun
Etymology: Norwegian troll & Danish trold, from Old Norse troll giant,
demon; probably akin to Middle High German trolle lout
Date: 1616
: a dwarf or giant in Scandinavian folklore inhabiting caves or hills

Whenever I hear the word 'culture', it makes me want to reach for
my revolver.

I still believe a troll is a grumpy monster that lives beneath a
bridge accosting passers-by.
FYOI, I see myself as more of a trollop than a troll.

Morose complimentses,

Why would Allan change his login name, and log in through a proxy server?
Why wouldn't he use the same login he has always used? That's how people
recognize him.

Why would he choose an obviously vulgar nick?

Allan signed off this group, and I fully understand why he did so.

Stop and think, people.

It's already been proven that this was TFM. Let it go.
(And there was no "proxy server" - not sure you even know what that
means).

A gift card for a supermarket or Amazon could be nice. JAT. :-) Or a
Visa gift card from your bank.
I'm happy you got it back! $700+ is nothing to sneeze at.
