Because they have more body fat? Be careful not to scorch them, though.

They don't, not typically in the home... still far more woman cook for
their families.

More men cook better professionally only because many more men than
women cook professionally, therefore many more men get the opportunity
to learn professional cooking, and there is a tremendous difference
between commercial cooking and home cooking. Cooking in a
professional setting is extremely physical, therefore more men
gravitate towards cooking professionally for the same reason more men
gravitate to mining, construction, trucking, commercial fishing,
steamfitting, etc. Even in the same commercial kitchen, even if the
women can cook better, the male cooks are paid more simply because the
women need assistance with the physical aspects of the job... of
course there are exceptions but in general this physical disparity
applies in the vast majority of instances, I'm sure they exist but
I've never met a woman yet who could change a flat tire. When a
female cook is hired the commercial kitchen is really getting only
half an employee, they'd need to hire a helper for her. Most
professional kitchens won't hire females precisely because of their
need to require help with heavy items, which is also extremely
unsafe... I would never trust anyone on the other end of a 60 qt pot,
a hot roasting pan containing four 20 lb hams, 100 lb sacks of
flour... either lift it yourself or use a crane... in a commercial
kitchen most females pose a grave safety hazard, they are a distinct
liability. This is not to say that many males couldn't do the job,
I've met men who can't change a flat tire either.

Are you claiming that you can change a flat tire... I doubt it... only
way you'd get your tire changed is to suck the AAA guy's dick.

AAA will change your tire sans blowjob. It's Bubba's Towing service you
gotta watch out for. They're located in Shelly's town.
That's how he knows the going rate.

Bubba told me Sheldon has at least 3 flat tires a week.

Me, too. My first car had terribly bald tires, and I had to change
one about
once a week. I was too broke to buy tires, but could always manage to
scrape up a couple of bucks to get one fixed.

How are you Cindy? Years ago you could pick up an old beater of a car
for peanuts and didn't need safety inspections to get it transferred to
your name. There have been great advances in tires over the last 40-50
years. Back in the good old days it was common to get flat tires and
blowouts, and tire treads wore down quickly. Everyone had to know how to
change tires because they had to be changed so often. You could only
expect to get 10-15,000 miles on a tire. Radial tires last much longer
than the old style tires.

I secretly believe that Sheldon is a woman in drag, aka Shelly, as in
Winters. I doubt seriously if she could change a tire.

All true, I believe, Blake. Shelly Winters was considered a “blond
bombshell” at one time. However, I still can’t keep thinking of Sheldon as
a woman in drag. Very bad drag! Either that, or a bull dyke.

I know very few men IRL who cook at all, so I disagree with your
initial premise. It's a very individual skill. Some have it, some don't.

I was tempted to say "The ones who do cook better have women behind them
who do the cleaning and washing up so they have more energy to devote to
cooking."

You have a point there. A lot of men don't cook at all. I know lots of
guys who do not cook. OTOH, those I know who do cook a lot and who like
it are really good at it, and they are willing to go on to try tougher
things.

By golly. You may be on to something there. :-)

FWIW. My mother taught my brothers and I to cook when we were young. She
learned a lot from her father. My grandfather used to cook all the big
family meals and he was the one who did all the baking in that
household. My three brothers are all quite capable in the kitchen. My
son can handle himself in a kitchen. My older brother has a son who has
recently proved himself to be a competent cook, and my oldest brother's
son is chef in a very nice restaurant. If a recent interview went well
he may soon be the executive chef in another fine dining establishment.

Then there is my wife's family. Her father used to poach his own eggs in
the morning, and that and toast was pretty much his culinary repertoire.
Her mother was a passable cook, capable of good results with a few
tried and true recipes. My wife is the braising queen and can turn out
wonderful stews. She can handle roasts, but she cannot bake. And then
there is her sister, who is pretty well useless in the kitchen. When we
were there for Thanksgiving I cooked the dinner. We took the bird an the
vegetables, salad and everything we thought we needed. Everything was
going fine until I asked her where she kept her flour. I had just
assumed that she would have flour in her kitchen. Everyone does.... I
thought. She didn't. She didn't think she even needed flour because she
never uses it.

Generally Not true!

Men cook as a:
Hobby
Diversion
Profession.

Not a daily necessity.

Ask most men to prepare 3 meals a day 365 and see how good they are. (Ranger
excepted)
