Default Trying out a new rotisserie

I have a George forman rotisserie while it does a fine job of spinning
foodstuffs it is a royal pain to clean.

Today while shopping I found a Faberware digital convection toaster oven
with rotisserie. It had no stick lining and smaller sized skewer parts that
would fit fine in the dishwasher. It was fully adjustable, time temp burner
settings etc... and take up to a 4.5 kg bird. It was on sale so I bought
one and I am trying it out. It seems to be doing a fine job on the bird so
far. But I don't like the skewer...hard to get the bird centered and
rotating right. I think I'll see if the spear parts from the george forman
will work on the Faberware skewer...that would fix my issues, hopefully.
But that's for the next bird.

For lunch a 1/2 a rotated chicken seasoned with Penzey's SouthWestern spice
blend...my newest favorite.

Sigh......

You and Charlotte will be the ruin of me now. I am staying about 6
miles from a Penzeys...right across from the hospital where I am
working. She likes the Mural of Flavor....

Guess I will have to mosey on over there and see what these are like.

Now, since I have a Penzeys so close, are there any other new
mixes/combos/spices that I should try?

Christine
