Default Can someone recommend a good quality mezzaluna?

Hi,

A friend of mine is a keen cook and wants a mezzaluna. I'd like to get
him a good one for his birthday. Can anyone recommend a good quality
make which will last, preferably one with wooden handles, but isn't an
exorbitant price? It needs to be available in the UK, too.

Suggestions would be appreciated.

Best wishes,

Chris

This should be available to you and your friend. This is from
Nigella's site.

Thanks for the recommendation. The all-stainless mezzaluna is a good
idea as it's dishwasher safe. I'm surprised at the price, though. It's
cheaper than I was expecting. Do you have the Nigella mezzaluna and if
so does it stay nice and sharp?

Best wishes,

Chris

No I don't. But I have seen her use hers a lot on her show, and I
knew that her store had it, as I have browsed there in the past.

Good luck with it, if you get it.

Also you might consider a Ula... a Eskimo style half moon knife with 1
handle.

I got him Nigella's mezzaluna and mezzaluna board. They're nice.
Thanks for the advice!

Best wishes,

Chris
