We are about 340 miles from Austin (southeast)Not exactly close, but
nothing is close in Texas. We do have a couple of guest rooms.

I love Austin, though it is growing a little too quickly. We don't get
up there very often because it means an overnight.

No one heads this way unless they are going to Mexico :-) We are so off
the "beaten path" here, it's almost like living on an island.
