We have this Krups, now marketed, it appears by Rival at a very good price.

It will slice to <1/16" thick, and then a bit of chopping should get you
where you want, particularly for stir frying. We have had the Krups for
years, and wouldn't be without it for slicing ham or beef for sandwiches,
etc.
