Default Aluminum Pans

Hello all,

I work a company as a kitchen manager that has numerous on sight
institutional food service settings. One of the other managers has the
company almost convinced that we need to dispose of all aluminum cook ware
due to health concerns. Personally I think this may be a bit extreme. Might
anyone know of Web sights, studies and such that would be helpful in this
debate?

Thanks, Wes

Which health concerns? If it has to do with Alzheimers, then go to the
source:
http://www.alzheimers.org.uk/Facts_a..._aluminium.htm

Although there are certain types of high-acid foods that can discolor
aluminum, aluminum is quit innert if ingested. There have been no negative
health effects attributed, BY SCIENCE, to aluminum cookware.

A search of three major medical search engines, Medline, Ovid, and MD
Consult, doesn't indicate anything. Medline is the database of the National
Institutes of Health, or the NIH, as most of us know it.
