Default REVIEW: Kinder's "Ball Tip" roast from Costco

Kinder's is in fact a NorCal Deli chain, but they sell packaged meat
products at Costco (at least here). I got a pre-marinated "ball-tip"
roast. It's some cut of bottom sirloin sold as an alternative to
tri-tip; the package had two distinct cuts in separate sides of the
plastic package. In a word: salty. I grilled to perfect temp; it was
tender enough but salty and otherwise unremarkable. My girls and I
are used to "remarkable". I'll stick to tri-tips and my rub.

And thanks TFM for your scrutiny of my referenced website. If you're
ever near there, lemme; know and I'll set you up with some good
trilobite collection sites.

But the infamous Desert Rat/geologist/mentor Bennie Troxel refered to
it as "rhymes with physics"; so I'm sticking with it. Commom usage
prevails. All 4 users.

I think you can, or some desert pupfish filets. They're great off the
grill (if they don't fall through). And the trilobites are to die
for. The trip is worth it just to see Death Valley. Go during the
early spring to see the wildflowers and cactus flowers.
