Default time period between filtering and bottling?

I usually wait a couple weeks. For reds I usually use a coarse filter and there
always seems to be some additional fall out after filtering.
For whites I don't usually filter as I fine with isinglass all the time, and
sometimes even precede it with bentonite filtering. However, I use a .4 micron
filter on whites where I have retained some residual sugar, usually
Gewurztraminer or Pinot Blanc. In this case, I see no problem going right from
filter to bottle.
