Default New Wine Log Software

I'm currently creating new desktop software for winemakers. It
incorporates a complete database management system, along with reporting,
charting, and many other capabilities. It is designed to run on any
operating system including Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X. I've released a
new beta test version, in order to get feedback regarding the progress so
far. This will be the last public test version before I release version
1.00. Thanks to all those in this newsgroup who have provided feedback.
This version incorporates most of the suggestions I have received. More
suggestions will be incorporated in the next release. The details can be
found at the following page:

http://www.fermsoft.com/amphora/index.php

Feedback can be provided via the contact page or forum page on the website.

Thanks a bunch Robert. It keeps getting better and better. Just a note to
Mac users. When I tried to download the .jar file by clicking it, it just
opened a browser window and started spewing binary junk on the screen. If
you encounter this problem, simply hold down the option key and click the
link and it will download just fine.

Yes, many browsers aren't set up properly to handle jar files. Maybe for
the next release I will put the jar in different archive that has better
browser support (maybe zip or gzip).

On windows xp, when I try to install, the installer simply says "out of
memory" for each file, when it tries to install them.

Hi,

I haven't heard of this problem before. Perhaps your PC really is out of
memory. I'm not sure if the installer is referring to RAM or hard disk
space. Rebooting your PC should free your RAM. Check your hard disk and
ensure that you have about 50 MB of space available.

Also, tomorrow (April 27) I will be releasing the official 1.00 release,
you may wish to wait until then to try again.
