Walla Walla
Just returned from Walla Walla Wine Country and here is all I have to
say. First, the scenery is incredible. Even compared to Napa it was a beautiful drive from Seattle to Walla Walla. Second some of the wines I tried were outstanding. Pepper Bridge, Woodward Canyon, Forgeron, L'ecole 41, among many others. All outstanding reds. In fact, what I noticed was the terroir was more noticable in their wines than many of the Napa Appelations. All for now, I am not home but posting this from laptop while in Portland. I will post more next week upon return. Walla Walla was GREAT. Reminds me of Napa 25 years ago, much less commerical. People very nice. Thanks to those that helped me with suggestions. We did all that were suggested and more. All were very nice wines. Dick |
