Default Sour Pickles Anyone?

I've got a great recipe for "Cuban" sandwiches that calls for sour pickles.
I used to buy them years ago but have searched high and low and can find
none (northern california). Does anyone know of a source for them. Not
dills, bread and butter, but "sour". They really are good. Thanks for any
help.
John

How about Gardinieri pickles? Those are easily available, both
regular and hot and also Cornichons (pickled small gherkins) are
another possibility tho' I don't know anything about Cuban
sanwiches.

Batampte Pickles are 1/2 sour. Not sure that's the best for Cuban
sandwiches though.

Sours (and half sours) are widely available around here. I'd suggest
trying a kosher deli, if not places like 2nd Ave Deli and Gus's Pickles
in NYC do mailorder.
