Default Bordeaux Questions

A little while ago I polled this group for the best Cellar Management
software around and based on the responses I recieved I downloaded and
purchased Cellar. I have been gradually working my way through the wine
fridge since, entering my collection into the software. A couple of Bordeaux
have turned up that I know nothing about and can't recall how they even came
into my possesion (probably a give away at a trade dinner or the like, I
know I didn't purchase them) If anybody know ANYTHING about these wines I
would appreciate it. They are (as I find French wine labels as difficult to
understand as the words are to say I will put in all info on the labels from
top to bottom)

Grand Vin de Bordeaux
Chateau Les Sables
1999 (I understand this bit at least )
Cotes de Bourg
Appelation Cotes de Bourg Controlee
Mis en Bouteille Dans La Region de Production
Par Borie-Manoux A Bourdeaux

Eleve en Futs de Chene
1999
Grande Reserve de
Beau-Rivage
Bordeaux
Appellation Bordeaux ControleeEleve et Mis en Bouteille Par
Borie Manoux

Cheers Andrew

A "petit chteau", one of the myriads of small no-name wines over
the Bordeaux landscape. Wine name is "Chteau Les Sables", AOC is
"Côtes de Bourg" (one of the 30+ appellations in the Bordeaux
region), and it was bottled by Borie-Manoux, a well-know négociant
(wine trade) company in Bordeaux.

Typical example of a generic Bordeaux Blend. "Elevé en Futs de
Chène" means that the wine has sprent some time in oak casks.
"Beau Rivage" is the brand name of the wine. "Bordeaux" is the
AOC. "Borie Manoux" is the bottler.
