Default Are ANY soy-type powders soluble?

I've been trying to find a good milk substitute for a long time and
have been experimenting with some soy or soy-containing powders. One
that I've been using (Value Protein, by Healthsmart) doesn't seem to
be made any more. The main problem is that most of these don't
dissolve--you end up with a mass at the bottom of the bottle. The
Value Protein dissolved a bit better than most, but I still got a lot
of stuff on the bottom. Has anyone found a soy or similar veg protein
that dissolves?

As I already have posted in rec.food.veg:

The simple secret is that you should use a shaker, the same thing barkeepers
use
to mix cocktails. We use to drink a soy powder that you mix with water or
milk instead of breakfast if we are in a hurry. Therefore we use two of
these tupperware mixers and drink the mixture afterwards immediately and
directly from the cups - no remains at the bottom at all. Just perfect!

Thanks, I'll try that. I've already tried using a blender, but some
still precipitates out. Possibly it depends also on the specific
brand of soy as well as how much you try to dissolve.

I use a tiny battery-powered mini drink mixer that is used directly in the
drinking glass. I ordered off the web. You may want to search the web for
one - they are under $10.00(USA). Some come with a travel pouch that can
easily fit in your pocket, purse or silverware drawer. They are sold by a
few
different companies and use 2 AA batteries. "VitaMinder" was one of the
brand names but there are others that look the same as this and may be even
cheaper. It does a great job mixing powdered drink mixes like Barley Green
and it should work very well with powdered soy milk. I generally use the
prepared soy milk so don't have any experience as yet with the powdered milk
substitute to offer any help in that way. Best wishes.

Cheers,
