Hi Phil - Found your queery (& FoodBanter) when looking for info on Sourdough Jack's basic recipe(s). I've got his cookbook from 'way back; but some 'helper' put it in storage for now & I haven't a clue where it is! I don't know what you mean by a "noodle," but I do have my starter from one of his packets I started many decades back. If you can suggest a way I could pack some up for ya, lemme know.
