Steak n Potatoes



3 tablespoons flour

salt and pepper to taste

3 pounds round steak

1 small onion, chopped

7 medium potatoes

2 10-3/4 oz. cans of cream of mushroom soup

1 cup milk

4-1/2 oz. can button mushrooms



In a medium bowl, combine flour, salt and pepper. Cut the round steak

into 2-inch pieces, dip the round steak into flour to coat. In a

skillet, brown meat and onions in a small amount of shortening. Set

aside. Peel and slice potatoes in 1/8-inch thick pieces. Boil for 2

minutes. Mix mushrooms soup with milk. Layer potatoes, steak and

soup mixture, ending with soup. Sprinkle with mushrooms. Bake in 300

degree oven for 2 hours. Serves 4. Or put in crockpot on low for 6-8

hours.
